OSA Reimeiki

Night falls, with the sky turning into a shade of dark indigo. Making their way past the magnificent front garden, Diya and Anna reach the edge of a moat as deep as my pile of homework will no doubt be in Grade 11. Emily soon catches up, followed by a sputtering Maria, who is gasping for breath. Hot on their heels, Nicole turns around and calls out, "Come on, Catherine! You're lagging behind!"


Shaking her head to clear her mind of all these theories about Diya, Catherine hurries to catch up to the group.
She brushes past Jessica, who is still staring at the grand portcullis in awe.


"Come on, honey bunny, we're getting left behind," John gently coos into Jessica's ear, grabbing her hand and pulling to rejoin the group at the edge of the moat.


"Uhh guys, how are we going to get into the castle? Even if we cross this moat, there's no way we'll be able to open that freakishly huge drawbridge?" Nicole scratches her head.
Anna cackles reassuringly, "There are up sides to having a cyborg as a friend, you know." She turns to Diya.
She claps her hands once and says, "Diya! Jump up there and lower the drawbridge!"
Diya makes no move to obey, and instead, sends a scathing glare at Anna. She responds, "I could, but I don't want to. You do it."
Before Anna can even give a single yelp of protest, Diya grabs her by the back of her collar and chucks her bodily over the battlements.


"WAAAAHHHHH!!! :D :D :D" Anna sails over the tall walls, screaming, "I'm gonna diiieeeeee! TEEHEE!"
But the Grim Reaper had no such luck this time. Anna lands on the soldier guarding the drawbridge, causing him to smack his head on the lever that held the door closed.
With an almighty creaking of the thick chains, the drawbridge slowly drops down in front of the group.
Anna leaps up, a bit dazed, but fine otherwise.


"Lucky throw," Catherine sneers.
Diya raises an eyebrow, "Of course." She shifts her hand towards her opposite sleeve, seems to think the better of it, and sighs.
"Well, we're in, let's go."
