OSA Reimeiki

Random chain stories about random teens in a super random old school. 96% fiction! Because we want to take a break from studying all the time.

Diya turns to the gathered group and whispers, "Alright people, let's try to stay low profile, so sneak along quietly--"

"HELLLOOOOOO!" Anna shrieks in a deep voice.
Diya quickly clamps a hand over her mouth and hisses, "What the hell are you doing?! When you you ever say hello when you're breaking into a potentially dangerous fortress?!"
"Yeah, this is not a funny sitcom entrance, Anna," Maria reprimands, shaking a finger.
Nicole scratches her head, "Huh? I don't get it."
"Argh, never mind, let's just go and hope no one's heard us," Diya sighs resignedly.

"You are aware that you just made the severe error of employing a literary device called irony and thus, foreshadowed to an later event in our story that will potentially affect us negatively?" Jessica puts in.
Everyone exchanges confused glances and pulls a simultaneous Nicole-moment, "Huh? We don't get it."
John clarifies, "You just jinxed us."
"Ohhhhh."
Jessica smiles warmly at her love and says, "Thank you Johnny-wonny."
John hugs her and smiles back, "Any time, honey-bear."
Everyone else turns away pointedly.

"There they are! Intruders! Get them!" The castle guards storm towards the group. Catherine holds up a commanding hand.
"STOP."
Under the magnitude of her glare, the guards meekly halt where they stand.
"'Intruders? Get them?' How cliché is that?" she mocks them.
A guard in the forefront scratches the back of his helmet and pulls out a script from underneath his chestplate.
"Look lady, it's not our fault we get such cheesy lines. The idiot who wrote this script must have no imagination at all." He sighs and puts it away, "In any case, we have to take you captive now."

"Never!" Emily dramatically jumps up and high-kicks the guard in the head and shoots anime-style lightening bolts out of her eyes at the ones right behind him. They fall down with a chorus of thuds.

"You have a witch amongst you?" another guard points, with wide eyes.
Nicole looks confused, "Huh? Oh, you mean Emily here? No, no--"
"A witch! A witch! Burn her! Make a bridge out of her! Toss her in the pond!" the guards shout, advancing on Emily.
Emily narrows her eyes, preparing to take them all out. But alas, she was out-numbered.

Nicole nudges Diya, "Hey, wouldn't this be a good time to cyborgify all these guys so we can make an escape?"
Diya stares back, "Cyborgify? Is that even a word?" Diya shakes her head, "No, I can't, actually."
Flipping back a hidden panel on her wrist, she points at the battery display, "See? I'm down to about 3.5 percent, and even that's going to run out soon."
"What the heck? You run on batteries?! How the heck are we going to find batteries in this day and age? More importantly, how the hell are we going to find cigarettes here?!" Maria seethes.
"Well first off, my batteries are solar powered, see this panel here?" Diya points to her upper arm and continues, "I just need to get outside and under the sun for a while. Unfortunately, in our current situation, that doesn't look like it's going to be possible, as we're about to be captured in this castle, and thrown in the deep dark dungeons, presumably. Until then, I'm just a regular human."

"And Maria, I don't really think we're gonna find any cigarettes for you to suck on during our time here," John pats her on the back, and he gets a twinkle in his eye, "However--"
Jessica drags him away by the ear, "John, don't even go there."
"Yes Jessica dearest," John bows his head meekly.

The guards surround everyone and they make their way to the dungeons.

KUDOS, Diya, for someone finally writing something.

...never-mind. I just read the innuendo at the end. Be VERY afraid at school on Monday.

yayyy! Interesting turn of events! I loved the part where Catherine mocks the guards, and they take out their scrolls. Reminds me smoewhat of Monty Python or some other comedy. xD

Lol, I can't believe you didn't comment on the 3.5. I put that in just for you. XD

And Maria... if the bball team keeps training as is, one day, I will be able to write 'more' without fear of being run into the ground. You shall not catch me then! But until that day arrives... -plays it safe-

Forget about it, I'm slow anyways.
